This medication I was on screwed me weight wise and now, no matter what I do, I can't get ride of it :(Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7803265305190794516.post-7475942656411087092014-02-02T05:12:15.292-08:002014-02-02T05:12:15.292-08:00yes! this is why it's well advised to ditch th...yes! this is why it's well advised to ditch the scale, especially during those first few weeks. it's a natural response for your body to retain water (body's protection during times of stress) and if exercise if fairly new to your routine, then that's what your body does -- it thinks your body is under duress and will therefore retain water, causing the scale to go up. but once your body adjusts and adapts to regular exercise, that goes away. this is why i never step on the scale -- it never takes into account the ONE TRUE thing that matters most: fat to muscle ratio. i have dropped a lot of dress sizes but i've only lost maybe 15-20lbs at the most. in the course of year, you really shouldn't drop more than that because the weight of fat you lost should be replaced with weight of muscle that you develop.

so go by inches lost only!! even your progress pictures are telling you that actual weight doesn't even matter -- your belly is shrinking even though the scale isn't moving. that thing is a lying whore -- throw it away and liberate yourself from the numbers :)

kathy
Vodka and Soda Kathy@MoreCoffeeLessTalkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11044005966979731361noreply@blogger.com
