Did ya miss me?

OK guys... no need to be sad anymore, I am back!
I totally didn't have a computer for the last 2 weeks and I love my phone and all but boy did I miss using my laptop!!! That being said I could not figure out how to blog well from my phone.... so I didn't. Sorry~

I missed blogging on Thanksgiving,  TWO Thirty Things Thursdays, TWO Weekend Updates
and
I missed writing my post on Jaida's 5 month "birthday".... it wont happen again!!

So I am not going to overwhelm you with everything that I have cooked, crafted, and photographed in the last 2 weeks all today... I will spread it out and keep the blogs coming!! Starting now::

JAIDA IS 5 MONTHS OLD!!! ( Nov.19th)

she did not want to hold still!!

I finally had a good one and realized I forgot her sticker...... so I put it on:

TA DA!.... yeah those fingers are ALWAYS in her mouth!

Jaida, at five months you are so sweet! You are really starting to have a real personality of your own! You babble all the time and when I say "say MaMa" you reply "ah ah".... same thing for "say DaDa" you say "ah ah." You are able to sit up, although you either lean way forward onto your tummy to balance or get tired and fall over. You are sleeping about 13 hours at night which is WONDERFUL!! You are also still taking about 2 long naps and one short nap during the day. ( Mommy and Daddy love that you love to sleep... but I admit sometimes I want to wake you up to play!!)
You are eating fruit or veggie baby foods at dinner time. You weigh about 15lbs and I think you're only a little over 25" long. Still in size 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.
The binky is completely gone since you love those 2 fingers... ok well you have a couple to chew on while you teeth. Can't wait to see what else you will learn this month!

Love you forever,
  Mommy

30 things::My Parents

Yup, it's that time again people....for....

#3

Well... this is them :) **isn't that little girl in the middle a cutie patootie?? that's my mom when she was 5 years old. Awwww.**

Anywho. Back to the relationship part.

First of all let me start by saying my dad actually passed away from a brain tumor when I was 13 years old. The parents that I have a relationship with now are my mom and step-father.

Libby and Miles

Hmmmmm..... what to say knowing my mom is reading this haha. Just kidding, it's not like she wouldn't know our "relationship status." My parents have been married since I was 9, so almost 20 years!
My relationship with my mom NOW is great, but when I was a teenager. YIKES! We did not get along. Nope, we did not see eye to eye. I wish that I could go back to those days and have a relationship with her that I hope to someday have with my daughter. I wish that we had been closer then like we are now. It is so nice to always have someone who loves you and will listen and give advice. She is someone that I feel completely comfortable with and call her with all my problems. a lot. often. haha sorry mom. I just love my mom! I never understood her when I was growing up .... do any kids actually understand the decisions that their parents make for them? She was given the impossible difficult task of raising a girl like me, and I must say she did a fabulous job. Sure I may be a little spoiled ;) but I LOVE Jesus and I think I have a great head on my shoulders. Thanks mom!

Now onto my step-dad Miles. wowsa...do we have all day? Actually our relationship growing up is easy to explain .... I didn't like him. AT ALL. I always thought he was stealing my mom's love away and he was just a big monster who wanted to make my life miserable. Fast forward about 10 years ( to when I was about 21-22 ish) I thought I finally "got it" he is the best grandpa I could ask for for my children (especially Jordon....they are BFFS!!) Finally I had the "dad" I had wanted my entire childhood.
BUT WAIT
I still did not get it 100%
UNTIL.....

I married Jon.

Now I can say I understand completely the struggles my mom had being in between her children and her husband, and I totally get how amazing my step dad really was/is for staying with my mom even if she did have 2 bratty (yes little sister I said it) young girls. Thank you mom for being a strong woman in a difficult situation and thank you Miles for being a stand up guy and taking on not just a wife but 2 girls that became wonderful women!

Monday.... in case you hadn't noticed

That's right it's time for my weekend update since it is Monday....again....already!! Time flies! Unlike (what seems like) everyone else Mondays are FRIDAYS in our house!

Jon has actually confused Jordon at times when dropping him off at the bus in the morning. He will tell him on a Monday that the week is over or on a Friday tell him to "make it a good week." Poor kid. Don't even get me started on how many times I think it's garbage night on Thursdays..... Oh man we are all messed up with this schedule.... but I LOVE it.

So, here goes my .....

Well Saturday was ( I think) Jordon's last soccer game of the season. YAY.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Saturday morning games and all the fun that is soccer BUT once it starts getting cold and rainy and my outfits consist of sweats and rainboots I am ready to be done!

So I got up early, made my coffee woke the kids up and got them ready to leave as well. I got all the way to the field, got the baby all bundled, grabbed the diaper bag, and chair and walked across the huge field and sat down. Ah, time to relax and watch the game on this cold ( but sunny) day.
NOT!

The coach from the other team that practices with Jordon came over to let me know the OUR game had been moved..... to another field...... 45 mins away.... and not for another 4 hours.
psssssh. we didn't go. Forget that!

Needless to say we then went home.

Later.... my friend came over ( for the first time ever but we live only blocks away from each other LOL) and she got me started on my new time waster hobby {when I watch more videos} KNITTING!

Totally want to make these::

Sunday like usual was The best church EVER! followed by hangin with some Hope hotties a Hope kids coordinator meeting.

Really it was a super laid back weekend here. Some plans were cancelled due to some family emergencies, but we made the best of the weekend regardless.

YOU GUYS.... want to know the BEST news ever???

Since "quitting sugar" ( I am allowing myself fruit and sugar free sweeteners because life seemed so boring without sugar haha) I have lost 6 lbs this week. SIX lbs people....in a WEEK.

one week

So that did it for me..... Sugar and I are officially done. We have split up for good.
BOO YA!

30 Things::Be afraid. Be very afraid

I had a plan! I am going to do my "30 things" blog on Thursdays!
So welcome to  ......

Ok.... well that's where the plan failed. With hubby being off on Thursday it feels more like Sunday (since today is his Monday) so..... yeah...... I forgot to get this blog up YESTERDAY for the start of '30 things Thursday'

How bout I write it in my amazing erin condren planner and promise to get these out on the right day next time!! You got it folks..... next time ;)

Second on the list of 30 is

Well, well, well.... Fear you say? There are so many things that I am sure every mother, wife, daughter etc. fears. Things that I'm sure I don't need to speak ( or write ) out. You know them. I am thinking a little more tame here....

3 things that "scare"me!

#1. SPIDERS!!
(ewww.. even this picture makes me scared!)
Here's the thing with spiders.... they move so fast and some jump and they have 8 legs and they can bite and...... seriously I could keep going but you get the point. Just the thought of something with 8 legs and googly eyes looking at me in "attack mode" is scary! Hubby isn't a fan either. My husband is a strong man and doesn't scare easily..... unless you are a spider then you may have found a weakness HAHA.
He really thinks a spider might jump off the wall and attack his face or something. So funny.

#2 HEIGHTS!!

Maybe it is more the fear of falling, I'm not sure. When I am up high and I look down and notice OH MAN it's awful! I'm talkin knees knocking and sweats like crazy! I have even started feeling nauseous looking at a view from the plane or even a picture (like above) as if I am ever going to be tightrope walking to work like that guy. I mean really guys it's bad..... I don't even like being on a ladder.... that has 4 steps.

and finally get ready to laugh (everyone does....especially hubs)

#3 CHALK!!

yep. Laugh away. I HATE chalk. I'm not sure if you could say I am "afraid" of chalk but I always tell people that I have a "chalk-phobia" because it gives me the willies. My children can't have chalk here because I cannot be around it. Just looking at it makes my hands dry and makes my skin crawl. The way it scratches when it writes YUCK. OK enough... now I'm off to find some lotion. Blah!!

Toodle-oodle!

Sugar pie honey bunch

You guys!!

Can I just tell you.... Today was day #1 without SUGAR!! **sort of a lie. I am not reading labels for hidden sugar but not eating sweets or fruits for 2 weeks.. no white flour either.... the obvious culprits**

I feel like I am dying. what? you think I am over dramatic? OK well maybe a little.... but for serious, I thought I was lazy and procrastinated before.... after hardly eating today, or only eating when I was hungry and then never being satisfied I can say I am ready for this day to be over.

Maybe I should have allowed myself to eat fruit at least. Perhaps just start out slow and cut out cookies, banana breads.... all the goodies I eat on the daily. I mean no joke, I cannot even start dinner right now because I am afraid to get on Pinterest to find a recipe knowing I will be bombarded with sweets.

I feel like crying, and yelling, and sleeping all at the same time ( hmmm)

Isn't it sad the effect an addiction to something can have on you when you quit cold turkey??

Don't even get me started on how I feel about working out tonight!!

On another more productive note I FINALLY opened my etsy shop :) Check out my goodies ** there is a link on the right to visit the shop yourself!**

Whoops how did those chocolates get in there ;)

TaTa my SWEETS!

I put the PRO in procrastination

Ok... so I came to the realization last night that procrastination=laziness.

That's right people I admitted that I am lazy (yuck) being humble is not always fun!

I always say that I procrastinate but that I am not lazy because I feel like I am always busy. Guess what friends.... I AM always busy. Busy putting off important things (like running my mary kay business) in order to do other things (like blogging) and busy cooking and baking yummy deliciousness for my family vs. spending 30 mins a day working out!

So on that note I am sitting down today ( haha sitting already huh) and re-writing my business plans and making some stuff for etsy and even working out! YAY.

Not to mention making dinner, and sweeping and mopping the floors. I better get moving! ** Don't worry blogging WAS in my plans for today!**

So one thing before I go..... check out this video..... THIS is in my future people, you can count on that!!

wanna join me?

x-nay on the yeast free diet-a

Yeah so after reading all about this yeast free diet..... I'm talkin no sugar, no carbs, no fruit, no dairy...NO WAY! I know that I would lose a lot of weight and prob flush my body of several toxins but lets be realistic, mama loves her cheese and breads!

So here's the plan stan, drum roll please. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... ( that was a drum roll folks)

I am stickin to weight watchers!

So now I am on a mish ( short for mission ) I need to find and follow as many bloggers as I can that talk about surviving  living the weight watchers lifestyle. Also please note if I ever blog about great recipes, or weight loss or anything else on this journey.... I will do my research BUT I am not going to the meetings. This is my fourth time on the program ( second on points plus) so I am a quitter pro!

This is going to be quite the journey because I am also trying to make new things I have found on Pinterest at least 5 days a week. Here are just a few of the foods I have pinned that I now will not be making I'm sure.

That's enough of that I have to stop before I fail at this lifestyle before starting LOL.

Enjoy, my fellow foodies!!
